On December 30, 2011 at the ripe age of 105 the acclaimed ceramicist and Renaissance woman, Eva Zeisel left this world at her home here in New York City.

This weekend, the International Contemporary Furniture Fair once again comes to the Jacob Javits Center here in NYC. With more than 550 exhibitors displaying contemporary furniture, seating, carpet and flooring, lighting, outdoor furniture, materials, wall coverings, accessories, textiles, and kitchen and bath for residential and commercial interiors, the show can be daunting.
