Ron Arad’s iconic Big Easy armchairs were originally created in his London workshop using bent sheet steel welded at the edges and were usually available only as unique pieces or very limited editions. Never known for their comfort, it wasn’t until Moroso introduced the Soft Big Easy that the series finally had found a production version which would be both true to the original forms and wonderful to live with. Over 4 feet wide, this is a Big chair.
A spurge that’s totally worth it. Mid-century fans will covet this majestic teak armchair, designed by Finn JUHL cabinetmaker Neils VODDER with the original white oxhide upholstery. 1949
