Temporary Wallpaper
My husband and I rent our apartment in NYC and I’m always looking for ways to change things up without the commitment. Sherwin Williams carries a wallpaper called Easy Change that is a temporary wallpaper. I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time. The other benefit is that it’s NON VINYL – so none of those nasty VOC’s to breathe in after installation.

Some selections are “paste the wall” while others are pre-pasted – and all are guaranteed to go up and come down effortlessly.

  • Environmentally friendly non-vinyl wallcovering
  • Dimensionally stable – wallpaper won’t expand or contract, no more seam separations
  • Breathable – prevents moisture from being trapped
  • Fully washable
  • Remove simply by pulling off the wall – no special tools or solvents needed

You apply the prepasted paper to your wall and when you want to take it down you simply grab the corners at the top of the strip and pull it down. The wall does not need to be repainted or anything.  They also have wallpaper with different textures that is designed to be painted on. That way you can paint any color you want and when you move you just take down the wallpaper.

The bad part is that most of the patterns are horrible. Skip weeding through the junk and go straight to Damasks and Prints, or Dahlia collection for a few diamonds in the rough. Maybe we could convince Osborne and Little to get on the bandwagon with Nina Campbell?
