Haute Couture Goes Home Decor

November 21, 2008 1:02 pm

One of the most exciting lines introduced at Market Week this past October is the new home decor line from Jakob Schlaepfer. Historically, JS has supplied high end textiles to the Fashion Market, supplying haute couture lines for Laura Biagotti and Jill Sander.  As designers began showing an interest in using the fabrics for their own homes, the introduction of the line was a no-brainer.

I think the most exciting part of the line is the ability to layer printed black-out shades, with shears in the same print. The line is distributed in the US by Savel, Inc.
